Eagles’ Wings Flight Training

We have been training pilots at Greenbrier Valley (LWB) and Hinton-Alderson AIrport (Pence Springs WV77) since 1984. Instructor is David H. Hersman, who has given more than 4700 hours of instruction. Most training in given in our Cessna 150, but we also offer instrument, sport pilot, and tailwheel instruction if someone has their own aircraft available. Greenbrier Valley Airport has a control tower, so it is an excellent place to get experience communicating by radio, and yet we seldom get serious delays you would expect at most larger airports. This airport serves the Greenbrier Hotel and some major skiing areas. We utilize several airports within a half-hour flight of LWB, including Hot Springs, Virginia, Summersville, Beckley. and the New River Gorge, plus a couple grass airports. Southeast West Virginia is a beautiful area to enjoy from the air. We are affiliated with Eagles´ Wings Aviation Ministry and Eagles´ Wings Christian Academy in Papua New Guinea.
