Chester County Aviation

Located in Western Chester County, west of the City of Coatesville on Business Route 30,, Chester County Aviation is an approved Cessna Pilot Center. We are a Part 61 flight school offering training from the Private Pilot to the Airline Transport Pilot, including Flight Instructor training. For our Private Pilot and Instrument Rating students, we use the Cessna approved web-based training curriculum. Our team of 11 CFI’s have over 56,000 flight hours combined and about 24,000 hours of dual instruction given. Our airport, Chester County Carlson - KMQS, is attended 24/7/365 and offers a 5400 by 100 foot runway.The airport is served by an ILS to Runway 29 andGPS approaches to Runways 11 and 29, providing all weather access to the airport. The air traffic variety at our airport includes the Cessna `152 and the Global Express, the Sikorsky S76 And S-92 helicopters and just about everything in between. This traffic mix provides the student pilot the opportunity to blend in with all different types of aircraft.
