Established in 1999, the 38-acre Riverside Campus is located adjacent to R.L. Jones, Jr. Airport and is the hub of the Tulsa Aviation Education Alliance, a partnership that includes Tulsa Tech, Tulsa Community College, and Oklahoma State University. The campus’ 283,000 square feet of classrooms, laboratories, and shops serve nearly 800 students per year. Private Pilot Ground SchoolThe first step in flight training actually begins on the ground. Tulsa Tech’s Private Pilot Ground School program is for secondary students who wish to explore their interests in aviation while gaining insight into safely operating an aircraft. This course is more in-depth than most other ground schools offered in the Tulsa area, specific for high school students, and includes fun and exciting experiences for students in an advanced curriculum. Through the Education Alliance Agreements between Tulsa Tech, Tulsa Community College and Oklahoma State University, students will encounter dynamic classroom and laboratory sessions.
