School of Missionary Aviation Technology

School of Missionary Aviation Technology (SMAT) offers a unique aviation training experience which is designed around the unique needs of mission aviation. We offer a 12 month FAA Part 147 A & P certification program and a part 61 Flight School program. Our program is designed around the unique aviation needs of today´s mission agencies who operate in remote areas with short runways and rough terrain. The School of Missionary Aviation Technology´s vision is to serve the Lord in missions by providing certified training in flight, aviation maintenance and related technical fields. We are committed to providing a high level of training through academic excellence, quality personnel and with facilities conducive to the real world missionary environment. As servants of Christ, we will accomplish this by providing a learning environment that is Christ-centered, caring, compassionate and responsive.We do this by providing performance based training, through hands-on experience in both laboratory and field environments.
