Our primary mission is to grow General Aviation by providing high-quality ground and flight training that is second to none. This is what makes an aviation community grow and prosper! With training from Sport Pilot to ATP, Iowa Flight Training can help you meet your goals. Financing is available. Locations in Cedar Rapids, Iowa City, and Vinton. We offer a unique business model. We use highly experienced instructors and pay them well. You have one instructor from start to finish and complete your license in the fewest possible hours. Our aircraft are maintained well above FAA minimums. We use the industry leading Flight Design CTLS for Sport Pilot training and have a full fleet of Cessna 172 and Piper aircraft, along with a Piper Arrow & Mooney 201 for Commercial and CFI training. We teach ground school classes at each of our facilities or at your location for groups, and offer Lasergrade testing at our Cedar Rapids facility. Introductory flight lessons are just $99.
